My approach to postpartum nourishment

I believe deep in my bones that the love and nourishment a mother receives during postpartum is of utmost importance. This shapes her health, influences her mental, emotional and spiritual transition into motherhood, and can literally impact the rest of her life.

Postpartum is not to be taken lightly. It’s a sacred transition and you deserve to be nourished deeply! In fact, it’s imperative that you are.

As a certified herbalist and integrative nutrition health coach specializing in perinatal nutrition, I have very carefully crafted every meal I offer. Each offering is extremely nutrient dense in the specific nutrients that mothers need to replenish after going through pregnancy and birth (and to support breastfeeding). I’ve blended in elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Native American teachings, with western science-backed nutrition to create a well rounded approach to healing the postpartum mother (and supporting her baby) through real food.

All ingredients are always locally grown and certified organic when possible. I source produce from local farmers markets, meats are pasture raised from local ranchers, and even seaweeds are locally foraged (by yours truly)! All meals are dairy and gluten free. Offerings change slightly in accordance with the seasons so that meals are of the highest quality and are as nutritionally dense as possible.

How it Works

Fill your kitchen with healthy meals for the fourth trimester (and beyond— also helpful during pregnancy!). All broths and soups are delivered frozen (unless pre-arranged otherwise) and can be safely stored in your freezer for at least four months (and safe in the fridge for up to six days), giving you full control and flexibility with your eating. Simply reheat meals in a pot on the stove (or “set it and forget it” in a slow cooker) and have a warm, home cooked meal ready to go in minutes. All offerings come as 1-cup frozen portions safely packed in compact gallon-size freezer bags. No need to defrost ahead of time as servings are already portioned out and will heat up quickly (although you can defrost ahead of time if desired for even faster heating). Don’t want yours frozen and pre-portioned? —just let me know.

A quick note on pricing

I recently raised my prices to reflect the rising cost of food and the amount of time it takes me to create each offering. I’m proud to make my offerings from scratch. The average order takes me six days to complete from start to finish, and my pricing is reflective of this time commitment.
